Graduate Programs

Master of Biblical Studies

The Master of Arts in Bible program is designed for students who desire to further their knowledge of God’s Word.

Requirements:

  1. 1.  The student must have an earned degree in an approved undergraduate four year program.
  2. 2.  Students whose undergraduate program did not include sufficient Bible courses will be required to complete an additional 18 credits in prerequisite Bible courses.
  3. 3.  The student must provide evidence of his undergraduate degree.  Evidence required:  Official college transcripts and a copy of his diploma.

 

Master of Christian Education

The Master of Christian Education program is designed for students who believe that God has called them into the ministry of education and desire to further their education.

Requirements:

  1. 1.  The student must have an earned degree in an approved undergraduate four year program.
  2. 2.  The student’s undergraduate program must have a proficiency in education courses and/or a minimum of two years teaching experience.  Adequate teaching experience will be determined on an individual basis by the administration.
  3. 3.  Students whose undergraduate program did not include education courses and have inadequate teaching experience may be required to complete additional prerequisite courses.
  4. 4.  The student must provide evidence of his undergraduate degree and teaching experience.  Evidence required:  Official college transcripts, a copy of his diploma, a letter of recommendation from his administrator concerning his experience, and a list of courses taught.
  5. 5.  The student must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours in education related courses and 10 credit hours in Bible.

 

Master of Ministry

The Master of Ministry program is designed for students who believe that God has called them into the ministry and desire to further their education.  The student can choose an emphasis in Pastoral, Missions, Adult, Youth, or Children’s ministries.

Requirements:

  1. 1.  The student must have an earned degree in an approved undergraduate four year program.
  2. 2.  Students whose undergraduate program did not include Bible courses may be required to complete an additional 18 credits in prerequisite Bible courses.
  3. 3.  The student must provide evidence of his undergraduate degree.  Evidence required:  Official college transcripts and a copy of his diploma.
  4. 4.  The student must have a letter of recommendation from his pastor.

 

Doctor of Biblical Studies

The Doctor of Biblical Studies program is designed for students who desire to further their knowledge of God’s Word.

Requirements:

  1. 1.  The student must have an earned Master’s level degree in Bible or a related field in an approved graduate program.
  2. 2.  Students whose undergraduate or graduate programs did not include sufficient Bible courses will be required to complete additional credits in prerequisite Bible courses.
  3. 3.  The student must provide evidence of his undergraduate and graduate degrees.  Evidence required:  Official college transcripts and a copy of his diploma.

 

Doctor of Christian Education

The Doctor of Christian Education program is designed for students who believe that God has called them further their education beyond the Master’s degree level.  Courses from the 500 series may apply if the student has not previously received credit for the course.  Prior approval from the Academic Dean is required for course enrollment.

Requirements:

  1. 1.  The student must have an earned Master’s level degree in an approved graduate program.
  2. 2.  The student’s undergraduate and graduate programs must have a proficiency in education courses and/or a minimum of five years teaching experience.  Adequate teaching experience will be determined on an individual basis by the administration.
  3. 3.  The student must provide evidence of his undergraduate degree, graduate degree, and teaching experience.  Evidence required:  Official college transcripts, a copy of his diploma, a letter of recommendation from his administrator concerning his experience, and a list of courses taught.
  4. 4.  The student must complete a minimum of 18 credit hours in education related courses and 10 credit hours in Bible.

 

Doctor of Ministry

The Doctor of Ministry program is designed for students who are currently involved in a ministry and desire to further their education.

Requirements:

  1. 1.  The student must have an earned Master’s level degree in an approved graduate program.
  2. 2.  The student’s undergraduate and graduate programs must have a proficiency in ministry related courses and/or a minimum of five years in the ministry.  Adequate experience will be determined on an individual basis by the administration.
  3. 3.  The student must provide evidence of his undergraduate degree, graduate degree, and experience.  Evidence required:  Official college transcripts, a copy of his diploma, a letter of recommendation from his pastor or deacon board concerning his experience, and a list of his duties in the ministry.
  4. 4.  The student must complete a minimum of 32 credit hours beyond the Master’s level, including 18 credit hours in education related courses and 10 credit hours in Bible.
